Papeterie Bespoke was borne of a hobby which owner, designer and maker Alice kept while she was an art student. It was a means of supporting her way through the course...well, more like
! It became a running joke that Alice was a perpetual student, and although there may have been a
of truth in this , it was always a step forward, a stepping stone, towards her ultimate goal; working in a creative industry role which enriched the lives of others one way or another.
Fast forward to 2018, after spending time working as a visual stylist, studying display & graphic design as well as art history with business management, being a volunteer art group leader and making stationery as a hobby, Alice left education and found that she was inundated with orders to the point where it was filling her days.
Hold on, could Papeterie Bespoke become a full time job?
This was something she had never anticipated but was incredibly excited to expand upon.
She has never looked back since making this decision.
